IE Spell Checker [Requires MS Word] If you post on web based forums or
newsgroups where you prepare what you submit in a text box, there generally
isn’t a mechanism to check the spelling before you submit. I found myself preparing text in Word,
running Word’s spell check and then copying the selection to the text box. This script puts a spell check option in
the shortcut (context or right click) menu of Internet Explorer when you right
click text that has been selected on a web page or in a web text box. An instance of MS Word is opened in the
background, spell check runs on the text that you right clicked and the
corrected text is sent to your clipboard.
Simply paste the clipboard contents to replace the selected text and you
know your spelling is fine. The
download is a compressed folder, Fld3, containing the files Install_Spell_It.vbs, Uninstall_Spell_It.vbs, Spell_It.htm, and
ReadMe.txt.
