This site provides a set of files I’ve created to either repair a common problem on Windows systems or add some missing function.  The script type files are done in Visual Basic Scripting (“vbs”) plus some ‘Setup Information’(inf”) files.  There are also some Excel workbooks containing VBA code which obviously require Excel.  The vbs files should run on any Win 98 or later version of Windows system, provided that the Windows Script Host has not been disabled for security reasons.  They may trigger a response from an anti-virus program.  Script files can be opened with Notepad if you want to review the contents.  In the case of the Excel workbooks, they generally require Excel 2000 or later unless otherwise specified in the notes.  If your MS Office security settings are at high the workbooks will not be allowed to work and if setting is medium you must click to enable the running of macros.

Every effort has been made to insure these files are problem free, particularly if they’re operated on the versions of Windows and/or Excel that they were designed for.  Take a moment to scan the ReadMe.txt files included with each download to be sure you have an appropriate setup to avoid problems.
